PP1001 PP1001 Series Anti Scalant Filter

This APS ULTRA brand anti scalant filter is designed for use on small standard 10 inch filter housings such as Pentek ( Ametek style or APS ULTRA brand economy reverse osmosis systems.

Antiscalant is a slow dissolve substance Comparable to calgon crystals where the antiscalant stick to calcium so it does not form scale by sticking to itself.

Typical life of this filter is 3-6 months. If you still see clean white media in the filter and the flow is ok, you do not need to change it. If it is dirty or has low flow you might need to change it.
